I recently read that if you have cute exercise clothes, you’re more likely to work out. It sounds silly, but I believe it. Who doesn’t love wearing something they love? Feeling good in your active gear is just going to translate to feeling good in your practice, whatever that may be (for me, mostly yoga).
Now, I’m not a high intensity exerciser who dedicates an hour to a sweat sesh, then crashes. I like to live a little more relaxed, doing things when it feels right and moving seamlessly from home yoga sessions to walking in the park to running by the grocery store. I’m also just a low-impact kinda gal when it comes to workouts.
I’ve been in the rhythm of daily movement since the new year and wanted to ensure I’d keep it up, knowing I needed versatile pieces that would fit my lifestyle. I said goodbye to carelessly throwing on old t-shirts and decided to invest in some pretty spring styles from Outdoor Voices for the new season. The happy colors and comfortable fits of my new activewear make me feel motivated to get up and continue moving regularly. (You’ll find the links to what I’m wearing beneath my photos, as well as inspiration for more looks.)
This look is perfect for doing all the things, like I do – from hikes to yoga to chilling at home. The leggings, in particular, were made for this kind of flexibility.
Everything I’m wearing here is super stretchy and soft. This outfit is a dream for a restorative yoga session or other low-impact activity.
I hope these spring colors and comfy outfits help boost your motivation to move, too! Happy exercising!
