My favorite colors have always been light blue and white (which, I know, is not really a color), but recently, I’ve become enamored with pink. This feminine color feels perfect for transitioning to spring, and brings to mind new buds and blooms. Wearing pink reminds me that winter is ending, and soon the earth will don cherry blossoms.
At this time, I’m getting particularly excited for my spring break (as a teacher, I still get to enjoy such things!), which is just a few weeks away. I’ll be heading to a South Carolina beach with H and need some appropriate wear for the unpredictable March weather. Luckily, Marine Layer sent me some lovely pieces for everyday life in Nashville that also perfectly suit my vacation, and I’m here to share them with you today:
I am absolutely in love with Marine Layer’s Camilla Dress. I plan to pair this dress with sneakers when we take our day trip to Charleston, or sandals for a sunset on the beach. This super flattering, versatile piece is a dream for any of my spring break scenarios.
This breezy Paige Button Down just says chill beach vacay. I see this being a regular rotator in my spring wear and my go-to for any outing in South Carolina. I paired it with my favorite shorts from Madewell. This look is easy, relaxed, and so me.
I can never be sure of the weather in March, and it’s almost certain that we we will have some cool days and nights both here in Nashville and in SC. For that, the Olivia sweater is my perfect solution. I’ll throw this on over my swimsuit on the beach, or layer it with a tee for a cozy night in.
I can’t get enough of this quilted pullover or stretchy leggings. Both are lightweight for the new season, but snuggly enough to keep me warm on a cooler, windy day. Basically, they’re absurdly comfortable, and you need them!
And once the sun comes out, I’ll trade the pullover for my super soft pocket tee. I paired with my favorite sneakers!
Marine Layer’s spring collection just gets me in the mood for warm weather and coastal adventures. Everything I’m wearing is unbelievably comfy, and fits me like a glove! For reference, I’m 5’2″, and these are all size XS. Embrace the spring fever and the rose tones! Happy almost March to you!
P.S. Marine Layer has an amazing new recycling program called ReSpun. Send them your old tees, get credit per tee, and they’ll turn your old shirts into new ones. Too. Cool.
