Happy spring! Last time, I shared a few fall reads with you, and I recently picked up some new books that I wanted to share. This spring, I plan to read:
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn
This is a historical novel about two women – a female spy recruited to the Alice Network in France during World War I and an American socialite. I have been told this one is really compelling, and I love war stories, so I cannot wait to read it!
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
This book is supposed to be funny, charming, and moving. Eleanor Oliphant struggles with social skills, and the book takes off when she meets Raymond, a bumbling IT guy. It is soon to be a motion picture produced by Reese Witherspoon, so I am especially excited to begin this wacky read!
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
This pick was recommended to me as a riveting and deep story about motherhood, secrets, and identity. It traces the lives of the perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic single mother and her teenage daughter. I am eager to dive in to this one!
All books are linked to Parnassus Books, our local bookstore in Nashville, TN. Support your local booksellers!
Please let me know if you have read any of these, or what you are currently enjoying. Happy reading!
Love, Bee
