Sleeveless Swing Dress / Similar Jean Jacket / Allbirds Sneakers
This past weekend, I headed to the opening day of Cheekwood Harvest with my cousin Warner of Warner Tidwell Photography to celebrate the first day of fall. As a Nashville native, I have been going to Cheekwood since I was little (see The Nashville of the 90’s post) and love it in every season, but fall is one of my favorite times to go.
We started our day up in the mansion, admiring the musicians’ songs drifting through the hall, and wandered up to the museum.
We stood in awe of the gorgeous new Field of Light exhibit – a captivating exploration of three-dimensional light and color.
We wandered through the paths and trees surrounding the mansion…
…and down into the gardens.
We stumbled into a spectacular field of wildflowers. It felt like walking into a painting.
We leapt and laughed by the pond, rejoicing in the much-needed cool, cloudy day.
I posed by some pumpkins, feeling a little windswept but grateful for the new season.
Warner even captured me in action creating content for my site!
We checked out the famous yearly pumpkin house and picked out our favorite pumpkins nearby.
