Decorating for every holiday can seem overwhelming or unnecessary, but there’s no need to go all out. Just having a few simple decorations around can make you feel happy and festive. This weekend, I made a trip to Nashville’s Giftery, which is one of my favorite places to shop seasonal decor. I picked up a few things for Halloween and Thanksgiving, deciding to keep it simple. Our living room is already decked out for fall, so I just focused on the kitchen and dining table. Here are a few suggestions for celebrating the upcoming holidays at home – without going overboard!
Halloween
I swapped out our neutral pumpkins for a spooky pumpkin and crow to serve as the dining table centerpiece, and I replaced our regular kitchen towels with these Halloween-themed ones. Getting themed centerpieces and towels is one of the easiest ways to decorate for an upcoming holiday!

Thanksgiving
See what a no-brainer this will be when November arrives? I plan on just exchanging the spooky pumpkin and crow with this Thanksgiving-appropriate pumpkin and acorn, and switching out the kitchen towels!

I love that orange plaid tea towel! I’ve been looking every where in the UK for cute autumnal tea towels, but haven’t found anything I like.
