There’s just something about November – the coziness, the leaves, the togetherness, the anticipation of the holiday season. When Thanksgiving arrives, after the cooking and prep is done, the day often feels snug, warm, and joyful. I love sitting down with family to enjoy our favorite food and each other’s company, and then settling in for a nap, movie, and leftovers. The feeling that Thanksgiving Day gives might be my favorite in the world.
I love to foster that vibe in my home. And so, although I won’t be hosting Thanksgiving dinner, I wanted our dining table to reflect fellowship, love, and comfort for the month of November. I hope that when loved ones come over, they feel right at home.
Here’s my simple, rustic tablescape (details and links provided at bottom of post):
1. Thanksgiving Appetizer Plates
2. Sunflowers in Pinecone Jar
3. Plaid Placemats
4. Cotton Casual Napkins in Maize
5. Similar Pumpkin
6. Similar Acorn
Original pumpkin and acorn are both from the Giftery in Nashville, TN.
What will your Thanksgiving table look like this year? How will you be celebrating? I hope you have a happy one!
