Indulge in something that you don’t eat for breakfast on weekdays. I love getting croissants with jam, because it makes me feel like I’m on vacation in Europe.
To take your time
Often I find that our society values busyness and rushing from one thing to the next. Weekend mornings can serve as an opportunity to slow down and just be. Give yourself permission to stay in your pajamas as long as you’d like.
Fresh air
When the weather’s nice, I enjoy starting the day outside. Take your cup of tea or coffee to a porch or balcony, listen to the birds, and watch the sun move through the sky.
Flowers
There’s something extra sweet about getting fresh flowers to set on the table as you eat a pastry and read the news.
