I had Thursday and Friday off work this past week for my fall break! This break has provided me with some much-needed time to relax and take part in seasonal activities. One way I celebrated was by creating my own snack mix, inspired by my love for candy corn and all things autumn. I have to say, it turned out delicious! I’m so excited to share my Honey Harvest Snack Mix with you!
Here’s how to make it:
Gather ingredients. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Heat butter until melted.
Combine Cheerios, Rice Chex, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, and pretzel sticks.
Stir salt and honey into melted butter.
Pour butter mixture over dry ingredients and stir until fully coated.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Let cool for about 15 minutes.
Place in large container. Mix in candy corn and chocolate chips.
Enjoy!
Happy snacking!
P.S. An easy fall meal and banana chocolate oat bites.
