Every weekend, I stock up on groceries at Whole Foods via Prime delivery, and I’m a big dark chocolate lover (I have a piece for dessert every night!), so I was especially excited to learn about Raaka’s chocolate bar promotion this month with Whole Foods – just in time for a holiday week of baking and treat-eating!
Raaka Chocolate is vegan, unroasted, and single origin, meaning each bar only uses beans from one particular region, making it possible to highlight that bean’s unique flavors (like wine or coffee!). Raaka also works directly with their cacao producers. They pay above fair-trade prices and prioritize transparency in their sourcing.
This November, Whole Foods is offering $1 off all Raaka bars, so you can get yours for $4.99 a bar. If you live in the South like me, look for all the flavors available in our region, including Pink Sea Salt & Pink Sea Salt Minis, Bourbon Cask Aged, Coconut Milk & Coconut Milk Minis, Bananas Foster, Maple & Nibs, Oat Milk, and Ginger Snap (limited).
You can also find the Waffle Cone bar and Maple Dark Baking Chocolate on their site. I’m particularly excited to bake with the baking chocolate. My mom and I plan on making chocolate chip banana bread for the upcoming Thanksgiving week using the Maple Dark flavor.
