I recently got this bookshelf for our new home! I love decorating for each season and plan on styling this bookshelf to reflect seasons and holidays throughout the year. For January, I’ve made it snowy and white. Here’s what I included!
Wintery books
I think it’s fun to highlight books that fit the season. For instance, my shelves includes Anna Karenina and One Day in December, among others. I’ve placed them with the pages facing out for a clean, minimalist look.
Snowy branches
I have a snowy branch on the top shelf and bottom shelf. My large faux snowy branch and smaller snowy glitter branch sold out, but here’s something similar.
Snowglobe
I found my snowglobe at Cheekwood‘s gift shop and loved it instantly! Here’s one of a similar style.
Pinecones
I placed these pinecones in this bubble bowl for a classic winter touch.
Snowy flowers
I added this white and silver peony stem and rose stem to the shelves, both placed in a bud vase. (Also notice the white snowy rose stem on the mantel.)
Winter candles
I love winter-scented candles. Mine are from past years and no longer sold, but this one looks lovely.
