We love our new kitchen. It has plenty of storage space, but it doesn’t have an actual pantry. We keep our pantry items in two of the cabinets, and recently I was wanting the space to be better organized. After doing lots of research and thinking about a variety of possibilities (glass canisters, white canisters, different sized bins?), I realized that most items made for pantry organization are simply too big and bulky for our space. I decided the easiest and most effective thing to do would be to get some short bins and labels.
I grouped like items in these pantry bins (I bought 2 sets of 6, and realized I’m short just a couple that I’ll need to get for the top left shelf). I’m very pleased with the size of the bins; they work perfectly for our cabinet space, and the items we have fit well in each! I also used a few existing bins I already had, like these white Italian pantry bins and interlocking bin organizers.
Then, I used these chalkboard labels and chalk marker (erasable!) to categorize each bin. I love how pretty this turned out! I’m really happy with how our pantry looks now, and it’s so easy to find everything in there.
Is your pantry organized? Or are you interested in starting a project like this soon?
