Happy June! I love this month; summer’s beginning always feels so fun. I was needing a little refresh in the kitchen for the new season and found a few items to share:
Neutral placemats
I had been looking for some pretty neutral placemats for our kitchen table and was delighted to find these textured stripe placemats. I think they are lovely for summer occasions or casual dining.
Towels
I also found this pair of kitchen towels to match the new placemats, our rug, and our kitchen walls and countertops, all of which are neutral. I thought the herb theme was sweet and timeless for summer.
Iced Tea Maker
Growing up, I always watched my mom make iced tea in the summer. I decided it was time I carry on the tradition myself! I looked at many different iced tea makers and settled on this one, which I am already enjoying. To use it, you pour water into the maker, then place your tea inside. Fill the pitcher with ice, and it brews a fresh pitcher in minutes. I am looking forward to experimenting with different kinds of tea, fruit, and sweeteners this summer. I am particularly loving this Beach Bellini tea, which I just brewed this morning. It is light, sweet, and refreshing, especially with the peach slices.
Please share your favorite recent kitchen finds or iced tea recipes in the comments!
P.S. The new addition to our patio and how I organized our small pantry space.
