After getting married in October, we are going on our honeymoon this upcoming spring break – just three weeks away! We will be flying to the Caribbean, somewhere completely new for me and a new island for H. Spring break’s arrival is always so welcome, especially when going to the beach and finding warmth and sunshine after the winter. We are so excited. I ordered the above swimsuit, cover-up, and best-selling packable hat to bring with me, and I already have these cushiony sandals from my bachelorette last spring. I also snagged this sweet dress – I’ve never been a purple girl, but lately I’ve been loving lavender! – and this one (in cream/gold, but my exact color has since sold out). For sleeping and lounging, Lake (a favorite brand!) sent this lovely white ruffle nightgown and blue shorts set.
I started picking out potential outfits for the trip from what I already own, as well, and was leaning toward whites, neutrals, and soft pastel colors – this, here, is my favorite color palette. I simply love spring!
