I found this beautiful ribbon at Santa’s Trees and love how it pops on our wreath.
I love to cozy up and stay in during the holiday season, baking cookies and watching movies, surrounded by the twinkling lights. This precious time tends to go too quickly, and I try to slow down and savor the little moments without packing my schedule or feeling pressured to do too much. I do, though, like to venture out for a few festive activities that I know I will look forward to and enjoy. Here are some things happening around Nashville that I am excited to do.
Nashville’s Nutcracker
My mom and I are going to Nashville’s Nutcracker at TPAC – a beloved tradition with a local twist on the classic ballet.
Cheekwood Holiday Tea
Cheekwood’s Holiday Tea is back! Years ago, they hosted a tea in the mansion, and my family and I loved it. We are delighted that it’s happening again, this time in their café.
The Hermitage Hotel Nutcracker Tea
I’ve been wanting to try the Nutcracker-themed tea at The Hermitage Hotel, and finally snagged tickets! I look forward to getting a little dressed up for this one.
Union Station’s 9 3/4 Pop-Up Bar
I am hoping to swing by Union Station this season to see their Harry Potter-themed pop-up bar!
It’s a Wonderful Life at the Belcourt
The Belcourt, Nashville’s local theatre, always shows It’s a Wonderful Life at Christmastime, and it’s such a magical event. Last year, H and I saw it in NYC!
Cheekwood Holiday Lights
This is one I’ve already ticked off the list this year, but going to Cheekwood and viewing the holiday lights is so special. In fact, H and I got engaged at this event! Be sure to snag a cocktail with hot cocoa or hot apple cider.
What holiday activities are you partaking in this December?
