This weekend has brought the first sweater weather, fallen leaves, pumpkins at our neighborhood farm stand, and feelings of autumn. On Saturday afternoon, I couldn’t help but embrace an early fall. My friend Ashley and I first enjoyed a dreamy walk in the park, and then went on an afternoon shopping excursion.
We shopped AshBlue‘s 21st birthday sale, which was so fun – I got this beautiful gold pillow, Weezie towels for the half bath, a sweet white felt pumpkin, and a special measuring tape.
I put the summer pillows away and placed my new pillow on the couch along with the other fall pillows, and my new pumpkin sits on the coffee table.
I love this new Weezie towel in the half bath.
After AshBlue, we went to Trader Joe’s because their fall items are back! I got treats I know I love like the Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancake mix (my favorite!), Pumpkin O’s, and Fall Leaf Tortilla Chips. I found new things too – Gluten Free Pumpkin Ravioli, Pumpkin Butternut Squash Bisque, Harvest Brunch Dog Treats (Cleo loved her first one!), Vanilla Pumpkin hand soap, and a Cinnamon Whisk!
The cinnamon whisk makes the kitchen smell like fresh fall spices. It’s a lovely piece to hang in your home! They also have large cinnamon brooms; we got one of these a few years ago and loved it as well.
This is the earliest I’ve ever felt in the fall mood, but with the weather this weekend, it just felt right. Whatever season you are celebrating, I wish you a wonderful one.
P.S. More fall-la-la-la-la.
