Our bedding has evolved through the years. We enjoyed flannel sheets for the holidays a few years ago, but they became worn more quickly than expected. After getting married, we received some Serena & Lily bedding and have loved it. This winter, I replaced the light blue pillow covers and shams with white and neutral ones for the season, and also ordered an additional blanket to keep us warm through snowy and cold nights. It’s lightweight and breathable but keeps us cozy.
Garnet Hill is having their annual White Sale, so it is a perfect time to invest in new sheets or bedding essentials – like this Wirecutter-favorite plush blanket (which I considered, but was worried it would be too warm), sweet petite-print comforter, or scallop percale sheets.
It always feels quite refreshing to switch up bedding between winter and spring. For now, the extra warmth is a comfort; once March arrives, the light blue shams and coverlet will be back again.
I hope you are staying cozy and warm this January!
P.S. My January decorations this year + encouragement for winter.
