I recently received a package from Mackenzie-Childs for a photo/video collaboration containing some beautiful home items that I picked out from their new Mocha Check collection. I love how seamlessly the neutral tones and pretty pattern fit in our home. The vase looks gorgeous on our island with tulips for anticipating spring.
I created this cozy nook on the counter for breakfast time with the decorative bowl, small everyday bowls, and little creamer. Every morning, I drink tea and have yogurt with fruit and granola, so this station is all set for me. Although for most purposes I use reusable paper towels, the paper towel holder is an attractive way to keep regular ones ready to go for trickier clean-ups. I love it all nestled next to my scallop lamp.
In the half bath, I placed the tissue box cover, waste bin, tissue storage (now actually in the master bath), and garden pot, which I will transition to the screen porch this spring. The mocha check design elevates these spaces and brings warmth.
I also got out the Valentine’s towels (a bit wrinkly from being stored) and added this new tea towel that I spotted online a few weeks ago; it is just too pretty! I’m in love.
