Happy Memorial Day weekend! As a teacher, these are the days when I exhale and at last find some much-needed deep rest. I love sinking into summer, taking time to just be, and then slowly feeling able to focus on and do more more outside of school. This weekend, I have been spending most of my time on the screen porch and the patio, and am looking forward to doing a bit of sprucing up out here once I feel more energized, plus continuing to simply relax, because that is what summer is for.
