I have been really into blue lately! Well, light blue is my favorite color, so I’m always into blue, but especially so this summer. I can be a green girl when it comes to the home, but H and I got this rug for spring, which has quite a bit of blue.

I realized that our pillows needed an upgrade to match and found these cotton scalloped slate blue pillow covers and this floral linen pillow cover and think they complement the rug so nicely. There’s still quite a bit of green in other parts of the room, so I am still working on making everything more cohesive, but am really enjoying these cool blues at the moment.

I always have a seasonal trio of Mrs. Meyer’s in the kitchen and recently got some of their new blue summer scents – I love them! I am really enjoying using the blueberry multi-surface cleaner and dish soap as well as the hydrangea hand soap, both of which remind me of summers in Rhode Island. These are now two of my absolute favorite Mrs. Meyer’s scents.

Similarly, with my wardrobe, blue/white combinations have always been a favorite for summer, and I’ve ordered some new pretty and petite-friendly pieces that fit the color scheme. This gingham set (top/skirt– now on sale) is so breezy, comfortable, and cute for summer picnics, gatherings, or just bopping around the house watering the plants.

I love this navy dress with embroidery for events or a special outing. As a teacher, I have a lot of casual dresses for school; this dress caught my eye, and I thought it would be lovely to have a more elevated option in my closet.

These navy-and-white gingham pants are SO light and easy for summer! They have an ultra-comfy fit and waistband.
I love all of these pieces and look forward to enjoying our home items this summer and wearing my new outfits on upcoming vacations. These are not blue, but in addition to the above, I also recently got this beautiful knit cardigan as well as these soft sage green knit pants and matching sweater for traveling (I always get chilly in airports/planes). What colors are you loving for summer?
P.S. More summer posts to get into the season.
