Happy summer! I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and two days away from 17, and feeling so good! As baby boy and my bump grow, I have been wanting to wear nothing other than breezy summer dresses. It’s just the comfiest option for a pregnant summer! I am linking all the dresses I’ve been wearing lately here (many on sale).
Our screen porch pillows, which I bought two summers ago when we moved into our house, were looking a little worn, so I gave them a refresh with some new cheerful green pillow covers.
Our hydrangeas have become so big and lush, and our front porch pots have been thriving with all the rain we have had this month (see what they looked like when I first planted them!).
H and I had some friends over for dinner last week, and I finally used some of the wedding gifts that had just been sitting in cabinets – pretty blue placemats and water goblets from AshBlue. I also placed these napkins and this hydrangea bundle (on sale) on our patio table. We served strawberry shortcake for dessert, and H and I continued to enjoy the leftovers for a few nights! It is one of my favorite summer treats.
A few weeks ago, when I was just 10 weeks and before we had told anyone our news, H and I found out we were having a baby boy with a sweet cake!
Next week, we are off to South Carolina and Rhode Island for our annual dreamy beachy July! I cannot wait to relax by the ocean. I will see you back here at the end of next month!
