Happy fall! I always love decorating for this season and getting all the cozy things back out. I spent this past Saturday taking the pumpkins, warm blankets, and more out of storage (and was thankful I had the energy to do so at seven months pregnant!).
After saying goodbye to a second trimester summer, I am officially in third trimester fall and 11 weeks from baby’s December due date. It feels like we were just celebrating and announcing this pregnancy in Jackson Hole.
Now, we enter a season of nesting. Autumn feels like the perfect time to soak up the final weeks before baby arrives for the holiday season.
I have not acquired any new fall decor, but I always decorate a little differently year to year, so I am simply sharing how our home looks this year. I love keeping things warm and cozy.

I swapped the peony bouquet for dahlias and added the pumpkin, candle, globe, and acorn.

I replaced the summer pillows and blankets with the fall ones.

I added a felt pumpkin and little velvet ones to the coffee table tray.

I placed this felt garland along with little pumpkins, a mushroom, and acorn on the table below our TV.

I stored away the spring/summer placemats, napkins, and candlesticks in favor of neutral and gold.

On the dining room buffet, I put away brightly colored coupe glasses, a vase, and flowers, and now have the autumn leaf vase, fall candle, and more velvet pumpkins.

In the kitchen, I decorated with a neutral bowl, white ceramic pumpkin, and velvet pumpkins (I just love those) on the island, autumnal towels, a pumpkin pie potholder, back door wreath, and cinnamon broom from Trader Joe’s.

I also placed some neutral fall decorations on the screen porch coffee table.

Finally, I hung the lamb’s ear wreath on the front door.
Have you put out any fall decorations? What are you most looking forward to this season?
P.S. Last year’s pumpkins and mums (can’t wait to get pumpkins soon), an easy fall meal, and fall/holiday reads.
