This early April has been a sun-filled dream. A year ago, I was newly pregnant, and now, I am experiencing my first spring as a mom with my sweet baby. He makes life feel fuller! On the 4th, I celebrated my 35th birthday (can’t believe I’ve been blogging since my 27th!). My sister-in-law sent me the most beautiful bouquet, above.
I had brunch with friends the morning of my birthday, and one of them brought me these beautiful tulips.

I received some sweet gifts like this year, like this candle warmer lamp and these quilted bags.
I also recently finished Lady Tremaine and loved it. It swept me up in an excellent escape! This book reimagines the story of Cinderella and tells it from the perspective of the stepmother (details vary from the original fairytale). The story explores motherhood and sacrifice. The writing is great and so compelling. It propels you through to the end, when the final chapters even read a bit like a thriller. I would highly recommend it!
