Every fall, I love decorating the front porch with pumpkins and mums. This year is my favorite yet because we grew many of our pumpkins in the garden!
I picked all of these beauties (plus two more littles that are inside – not pictured) from our very own backyard garden. Last fall, we composted our pumpkins in the garden, not knowing that it would yield our very own pumpkin patch this year!
I started out by decorating just with our homegrown pumpkins. I could’ve stopped there, but I can never resist a trip to the pumpkin patch.
I love the additional pumpkins, and of course, the mums.
I also added some Cinderella pumpkins to the stone wall again this year. I tried to do so a few years ago and squirrels ate them, but I love how they look here, so I’m giving it another go.
