Happy October! It’s officially time for pumpkins and mums. Last weekend, I visited Flying Ghost Pumpkin Patch, which is my favorite place to get fresh fall decorations.
In the past, I have gotten fairytale pumpkins, but this year, I was feeling attracted to the classic whites and oranges. I also got a big orange mum and two smaller purple mums.
I decided to arrange the larger pumpkins and two purple mums on the front porch. I kept out my eucalyptus planters from summer because I thought they could really fit any season. I also got out my fall wreath from a few years ago (similar here) and “Come in & cozy up” doormat from last year.
I placed the orange mum and mini pumpkins on the back patio.
And here’s the front porch and back patio as of this weekend! The storm door could not open and close over last year’s doormat, so I got this new one on sale. I love it! H’s mom also gave us two fairytale pumpkins, and I think they perfectly complete the porch. Also notice the new blooms and leaves that have already fallen- I cannot wait for all the beautiful leaf colors.
Here is some inspiration for your own porch this fall:
