It’s my spring break! On Friday, I enjoyed the first day with a park walk, a little shopping, and a matcha latte. I also realized that Easter is early this year, at the end of the month, and in the late cloudy afternoon decided to get out my Easter decorations. I recently sold my last camera in favor of something more compact – this tiny and incredible point-and-shoot, recommended by a photographer friend. I wanted something that would be easy to bring with me anywhere and take beautiful, effortless photos, and this camera accomplishes that goal. I started playing with it yesterday, and all of these photos were taken with my new camera in low light.
I found the white figurine rabbits last year at Giftery and yellow tulips at Cheekwood‘s gift shop. The soft floral bunny was a gift from my mom years ago that is still so sweet.
Both vases were wedding gifts. The eggs in the nest was another Giftery find from a few years ago. I got the white floral stem this year.
The sage green vase is also from Cheekwood, and I found the boxwood bundle online.
This gorgeous orchid was a gift, but I spotted them at Trader Joe’s!
I love my seasonal calendars from Inslee and Etsy. My aunt gave me the little sheep years ago.
I was so excited to discover another daffodil patch had sprouted up and bloomed in our yard. I really can’t get over the quality of these photos especially compared to the one I snapped with my phone.
I am loving this almost-spring, my Easter decorations, and my new camera! Do you have a spring break or spring vacation planned?
P.S. More spring home decorations and style inspiration for early spring.
