This is sure to be the sweetest Valentine’s Day yet as we have a little valentine this year. We have the blue ribbon to celebrate his birth on our door for just a little while longer, along with the Valentine’s boxwood wreath that was a gift a few years ago and has held up beautifully (though this may be the last year for it).

I love having seasonal kitchen towels; this one that I got last year makes me happy.

This fun decoration came from Food Co. last year when we got their Valentine’s dinner, which we ordered again for this year! It’s delicious.

The felt wreath on the back door is from a Valentine’s party at school when I was teaching; a parent bought it at Trader Joe’s and told me to keep it!

This year, H brought home this sweet little potted plant from Trader Joe’s. They always have the best flowers and plants.

I always enjoy looking at my beautiful Inslee Fariss calendar in the kitchen.
We are having a warm stretch of February that’s making me dream of spring, and the ice storm and my surgery both feel far away now. Each day during this postpartum time feels a little easier and better!
I hope you have a super sweet Valentine’s Day, and do something special for you! Xo
P.S. More Valentine’s posts.
